As we usher in the New Year with joy and anticipation, the Mind Sports Olympiad is thrilled to contribute to the excitement by unveiling our Grand Prix schedule for 2024!

Commencing on Friday 2nd February and continuing through Sunday 17th March 2024, our Grand Prix offers a diverse array of tournaments for players of all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or an enthusiastic novice, the MSO Grand Prix provides an opportunity for everyone to come together and enjoy a fantastic selection of online games.

Tournaments are categorised into seven distinct types: Abstract, Imperfect Information, Multiplayer, Backgammon, Chess, Draughts and Poker. As well as our overall Grand Prix Championship (determined by the best score across Premier events) we will have our Category Championships to determine the top players in each gaming category.

We’d like to extend our thanks those players who suggested new games for us to consider. Whilst we couldn’t accommodate every suggestion, many of these ideas have found a place on our schedule.  Detailed information about each tournament will be gradually released throughout January, accessible on our website, along with instructions on how to sign up for MSO Grand Prix tournaments.

If you’re eager to dive in right away, consider participating in one of our turn-based tournaments. Entries for Quoridor and Tzolk’in close on Wednesday 3rd January, with games set to begin the following day. Click here for comprehensive details on all our turn-based tournaments.
