30th Mind Sports Olympiad – 22nd August to 30th August 2026
The Mind Sports Olympiad is returns this August in a new venue for 2026 – The Mercure Hotel, Earls Court, London, SW6 1UD. We’re very much looking forward to welcoming you in person this summer, whether you are a regular player or a first time attendee! Information on visiting our venue can be found here.

Click on events in the interactive calendar below to find out more information about each event and to add it to your basket. Tournament rules and information is available on each tournaments page – but is subject to minor changes before August 1st.
We have partnered with a couple of organisations, for which registration for events run by them should be booked separately:
- Elite Chess Events (Saturday 22nd – Sunday 23rd).
- UK Backgammon Federation (Monday 24th – Sunday 30th).
There is no All You Can Play ticket this year. However, any order before the end of July 31st on MSO events over £200 will receive a 20% discount on the full order. If you wish to switch events in the same session after booking, this can be done free of charge, please contact us to arrange this for you. Helpers and volunteers receive automatic and free entry to events they are assisting with. If you are a regular MSO player, but have financial difficulties, please contact us to explore alternative discounts.
