On Saturday, November 2nd, the Suwon Convention Center in South Korea hosted the Mind Sports Olympiad 2025 Korean National Team Selection, marking a significant milestone on the road to next year’s global competition.

Over 570 participants, ranging from preschoolers to adults, gathered for the finals after advancing through fierce regional preliminary rounds involving more than 2,000 players. The event welcomed not only the athletes but also over 1,000 family members, creating a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere.

Participants competed in a variety of mind sports, including Line of Action, Tri-Hexa Plus, International Draughts, The Battle, and Arizona. The athletes demonstrated remarkable concentration and strategic ability, impressing the audience and judges alike. From the youngest preschoolers showcasing impressive focus to highly competitive adult-level matches, the event celebrated the spirit of mind sports across all ages.
