MSO Grand Prix 2026 – 6th February to 22nd March 2026
The MSO’s online competition, the MSO Grand Prix, returns again for another installment in early 2026.
Commencing on Friday 6th February and continuing through Sunday 22nd March 2026, our Grand Prix offers a diverse array of tournaments for players of all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or an enthusiastic novice, the MSO Grand Prix provides an opportunity for everyone to come together and enjoy a fantastic selection of online games.
Tournaments are categorised into seven distinct types: Abstract, Imperfect Information, Multiplayer, Backgammon, Chess, Draughts and Poker. As well as our overall Grand Prix Championship (determined by the best score across Premier events) we will have our Category Championships to determine the top players in each gaming category.
Detailed information about each tournament will be gradually released between now and the start of the Grand Prix, along with instructions on how to register and sign up for MSO Grand Prix tournaments. Currently only the Premier Schedule has been announced, but keep an eye out for the full schedule which will have approximately 75 tournaments spread out over 22 days of play!
Whilst the timetable is focused around a European day, with the MSO’s origins being in the UK, we do appreciate the dedication of players from all over the world, particularly our numerous players based in Asia. These players often play through their night, and so the weekend slots are split throughout the European day to try and accommodate as many players from all corners of the globe.
Once again, our Grand Prix Carcassonne event will again be providing a qualification spot for the 2026 Carcassonne World Championship, which will be held in Germany next October. This tournament will run to the same format as in previous years with two chances to qualify for the finals, intended to be accessible for players of all timezones.
Finally, don’t forget to join our Discord Server to talk games with other players. This is also the best way for you to contact us should you have any questions about the Grand Prix.
