We’re at the halfway point of the 2024 Mind Sports Olympiad and Guilherme Neves from Portugal is leading the Pentamind with 471.84 points ahead of Andres Kuusk’s 457.6 points. Neves has already taken gold in 2-player Carcassonne, silver in Patchwork and Kingdomino and Bronze in Azul; he also made it to the final table in Catan but finished 4th. Neves is studying particle physics in graduate school and this is Neves’ first time at the Mind Sports Olympiad. Good luck Neves!

The Abalone World Championship took place today and was won by eleven year old Kang Kyungmin from Korea. Congrats Kyungmin!
