The MSO extends its congratulations to Dani Angelats who won the 2024 Carcassonne World Championship in Herne (Germany) on Saturday 5th October! Catalonia’s Dani beat Hungary’s Josef Tihon in the final of the tournament which had a record 46 players from 40 nations. Dani has attended the past two MSOs in London, finishing second in the Pentamind in 2023, and defeated defending champion, MSO’s Matt Tucker in the third round. Several players who have attended the 2024 MSO were in the tournament, including Bogdan Curcan who finished 3rd, Matt Tucker who was 12th, and current Pentamind Champion Andres Kuusk who finished 21st.
