The 2025 Mental Calculations World Championship Final took place online on April 13, 2025, featuring finalists from Serbia, Bulgaria, India, and Italy. The contest started with an intense showdown, highlighted by all competitors correctly answering the first and last questions. Some of the challenging problems posed included finding the prime factorization of 113,724, determining a sum of squares representation for 102,184, and calculating the cube root of 1,622,234,375.

After several closely contested rounds, it was Kaloyan Geshev who emerged dominant, decisively pulling ahead to secure his fourth World Championship title—a remarkable feat he clinched even before entering the final round.

Abhilakshya Arora delivered an outstanding performance, earning a well-deserved silver medal. Equally impressive was newcomer Swanand Bhore, who achieved a bronze medal in his very first championship final.

Experienced competitor Radhika Maheshwari and veteran Andrej Zivanovic demonstrated strong performances, finishing just behind the medalists. Domenico Mancuso, another newcomer, distinguished himself not only as the oldest finalist but also as the sole participant born in the 20th century. Rounding out the exceptional lineup were Vandan Nyati and Achyuttam, both showcasing solid skills throughout the competition.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Daniel Timms, whose exceptional organizational skills and dedication made this global event possible. Special thanks to the dedicated proctors who diligently supervised the competition across multiple international locations. Their commitment ensured the event’s integrity.

Congratulations again to Kaloyan Geshev on his extraordinary fourth championship victory—truly an incredible milestone in the world of mental calculation!
