The 2024 Mental Calculations World Championship will take place online in three stages:

• Qualifier: Sunday 4th February 15:00 UTC+0
• Semi-Final: Saturday 2nd March 15:00 UTC+0
• FINAL: Saturday 23rd March (Time and Date TBC)

 

The deadline to register is Monday 29th January.

 

A zoom link will be emailed to the participants beforehand.

 

The qualifier will take place on zoom in terms in order to observe competitors and we’ll use a google form with questions for people to submit their answers. The questions will be in two sections: one with basic operations like subtraction, multiplication, division, rounding, fractions and decimals. The second section will include more advanced calculations such as roots, calendar dates, and prime factors. The entire qualifier session will take less than 30 minutes.
