MSO Grand Prix (Online) – 15th April to 29th May 2022

Registration for the MSO Grand Prix tournaments is now open!  You can add to your basket the tournaments that you are interested in using the calendar below.  Each tournament has it’s own information page with details about the tournament format, rules etc.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your tournament and read all event details in advance to avoid disappointment.  Finish times are approximate.

The Multiplayer Games Championship is a unique meta-event, which celebrates the best Multiplayer games player in the world. Multiplayer games are any games where 3 or more players are involved in one game.

The player who scores the most Grand Prix points across all Multiplayer game tournaments will be crowned the Multiplayer Games Champion.  For details on how Grand Prix points are awarded visit mindsportsolympiad.com/mso-grand-prix.

Eligible events are highlighted in green on the Grand Prix schedule.

The Abstract Games Championship is a unique meta-event, which celebrates the best abstract games player in the world. Abstract games are two player games which involve no randomness or hidden information during the game (some abstract games may involve a random starting position).

The Imperfect Information Games Championship is a unique meta-event, which celebrates the best Imperfect Information games player in the world. Imperfect Information games are two player games which involve either an element or randomness or hidden information during gameplay.

The Grand Prix Chess Championship celebrates the best Chess player across the MSO Grand Prix tournaments.

The Grand Prix Draughts Championship celebrates the best Draughts player across the MSO Grand Prix tournaments.

Eligible events are highlighted in pink on the Grand Prix schedule.

Junior medals can be won in all of our tournaments.  Juniors are defined as players who are under 18 years old as of the first day of the MSO.  In order to win a Junior medal a player must finish within the top 3 juniors in the final tournament standings and be in the top half of the overall standings.

In addition there will be a Junior Grand Prix Championship to find the best all round Junior player.  The winner will be the best junior player taken from the overall Grand Prix Championship standings.  Scoring details are available at mindsportsolympiad.com/mso-grand-prix.
